Who I am

Hello there, allow me to present myself

I’m Andy Van Wagoner—a Product, UX/UI Designer, front-end developer, and graphic designer with 20+ years of experience. I’ve worked across HR Tech, FinTech, and the game industry, crafting intuitive, engaging experiences that challenge the status quo. My specialties include UX/UI design, game and app UI, front-end development, logo design, and iconography.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me mountain biking, playing games, eating ridiculously spicy food, or enjoying a good (or hilariously bad) action flick.

What I can do for you

Simply put, I can improve the user experience and UI design of your existing projects, or create smashing new designs for your next big idea. From usability audits, to interaction wireframes and prototypes, to UI mockups, or wrapping an entirely new design over an existing architecture, I’m comfortable jumping in at any stage of UX / UI development.

If you are looking for a someone with front end web development chops, I'm wicked-good with: HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript. I also have experience with Foundation, jQuery, Rails, Wordpress, and other popular frameworks, platforms, and tools.

What I want

I want to use my skills and experience to make an impact, something that I can see with my own eyes. Of course, the position is only a part of the equation. Being at a company where I'm challenged to grow, and working on a product that I care about, is a pretty big deal with me.
